Your Lie in April ( Japanese: 四月は君の嘘, Hepburn: Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso, lit. 'April is Your Lie') is a Japanese romantic drama manga series written and illustrated by Naoshi Arakawa. It was serialized in Kodansha 's magazine Monthly Shōnen Magazine from April 2011 to February 2015.
It's more 9.5 instead of a 10. The show is really good, but the comedy in the first half of the show can often lead to jarring tonal shifts. Pretty much my only real complaint about the show. It's got a good core story that gets absolutely strangled by tonal whiplash with poor attempts at comedy.Its origin comes from The Grand Grimoire, it's "The secret of the Black hen, a secret without which one can not count on the success of any cabala". Both of these series all build up to a point where the events are dramatic and emotional, as this is seen in the transition from the first half to the second half of the series, along with some comedies time to time.
