From Sanur, there are more departures to Nusa Penida, but the problem here is that there are only two departures from Lombok to Sanur. Both these ferries arrive at 1630 in Sanur, which also leaves you with only one option for the connecting ferry. If the ferry schedules don’t match, you can also take a taxi from Padang Bai to Sanur. This leaves you with the most departure options from Lombok to Bali, as well as the most departure times from Bali to Nusa Penida. Note that Sanur opened a new port.
